The Savona Community Association is a volunteer organization which has served the community of Savona since 1947! We are registered as a "not for profit" society under the BC Societies Act.
The purpose of the Community Association is to advocate for community needs, maintain and manage community facilities as well as be the catalyst for community events.
The Savona Community Association has seven strategic priorities for the years 2024 through 2029:
· Health and sustainability of the Savona Community Association
· Stewardship of Lakeshore Park*
· Operation of Savona Boat Launch*
· Management of Savona Community Hall
· Oversight and support of the Savona Heritage Museum
· Organization of Community Events
· Advocacy and leadership in setting and achieving community improvement goals.
* - Savona Lakeshore Park is a Foreshore Lease and License of Occupancy held by the Savona Community Association on behalf of area residents. The Savona Community Association acts as an agent for the community to allow the park to exist. SCA takes the position that we are partners with the Savona Improvement District and the TNRD in the deliverance of this high value asset to the community and region.
