Note, all facilities are open to the public for their use on a first come, first serve basis. The booking fees reserve the spaces for personal use for the allotted periods of time.
Bandshell: $30.00/hour (minimum 2 hour rental to a maximum of $150/day)
Picnic Area/Concession: $30.00/hour (minimum 2 hour rental to a maximum of $150/day)
BBQ, grille, fridge, freezer, washdown sinks, etc.: $25/hour (minimum 2 hour rental). Equipment to be cleaned, propane tanks refilled on completion.
All bookings need to be secured with a damage deposit of $200 to hold the booked date. This will be returned to you, upon inspection, by SCA cheque or e-transfer within 1 week of the end of the event.
Insurance Guidelines
As per our broker – Westland Insurance Services 1-250-828-2838
Park Rentals, non-alcoholic functions – No event insurance is required.
However, we reserve the right at any time to ask the renter to carry event insurance.
Park Rental – Non-alcoholic – For Profit or Personal Gain Functions – Event Insurance is required with a minimum 2 million liability coverage.
Park Rental – All Functions serving alcohol are required, no exceptions, to carry the appropriate liquor permit and event insurance with a minimum of 2 million liability coverage.
DUTY OF CARE:
Once you have a Special Occasion License, if you serve alcohol to someone who becomes impaired as a result, you may be held legally liable for that person’s subsequent behavior.
